Biography

Portland, Oregon, United States (2009 – present)

Indignant Senility are a slowly demented and nightmarish wasteland sequences from Portland, Oregon, United States’ Pat Maherr, crafting his debut album in 2009.

Maherr has previously split his time between a plethora of monikers, from the chopped and screwed hip-hop to lo-fi noise, developing the gritty collage sensibility which he’s mastered to a disturbing degree.

At least tag it 'Plays Wagner 1' etc, so he can release a second album without track titles if he ever feels like it.

this is really great stuff for fans of William Basinski, The Caretaker and the like. however, i'll never understand why an artist chooses to eschew track titles. it completely ignores an entire level of creativity and connection to the music.

Really gorgeous and cinematic, creates and settles somewhere between the dichotomy of eerie and calm. Reminds me of some of the quieter pieces from Aphex Twin's 'Ambient Works'. I've been falling asleep to this all month.
