Biography
Lithuanian "home music group" Ilgumos formed on December of 2007, when Justinas invited Agnė to embellish his old student songs with her voice. Our first performance as a group took place in Alanta a musical event, organized by “Lygiadienis” club. Spreading the concept of playing mostly for ourselves, but sharing our love to music with other people, is evolving while we attend more and more public concerts.
At the moment Ilgumos consists of:
Agnė Mikalauskaitė - music, lyrics, vocal, keyboards, percussion;
Barbora Drąsutytė - flute, melodica, vocal;
Evaldas Vaičiukynas (auksas) - percussion, vocal;
Gediminas Sudnikavičius - violin;
Justinas Žilinskas - music, lyrics, vocal, guitars, harmonica.
Sometimes we also get great back vocals from:
Justina Kaminskaitė - vocal, percussion;
Former group members:
Kristina Mickutė (violin, melodica, vocals), Milda Prušinskaitė (flute)
and Smiltė (vocal, percussion).
Group sings in Lithuanian, lyrics of most of the songs are written by Justinas Žilinskas, music is shared between Justinas Žilinskas and Agnė Mikalauskaitė. The influence on the style and themes vary from Lithuanian national performers as well as classic and modern folk bard rock.
