Guillaume Gargaud studied improvisation at IIMA, France between 1999-2002. He then joined Zwann Ei, a sound and video collective focusing on audio/visual context and how this relates to the body. In 2004 he joined Aarde with Loïs Laplace, releasing two CDs, A Whole Day and Desperate Islands on the Dirty Demos label.
