Fridtjof Nansen (/ˈfrɪd.tjɒf ˈnænsən/ frid-choff nan-sən; 10 October 1861 – 13 May 1930) was a Norwegian explorer, scientist, diplomat, humanitarian and Nobel Peace Prize laureate.
