Flytecase was created by Nathalie (vocals), Geert (guitar, vocals), Eric (drums) and Laurent (bass) in January of 2009. Their music oscillates between electro-acoustic pop-rock and more powerful alternative rock. The idea is to always evoke emotion with the audience, but more importantly to share it during live performances.
Flytecase is inspired by life and living. Feelings like joy, sorrow, love and doubt, fuel the songs and the lyrics.
The band has played all around Belgium and only after just a few months of existence, they already were finalists of the prestigious ‘Envol des Cités’ contest.
Flytecase has built out a local fan-base that follows them around concerts, which happen on a regular basis. The music, neither too hard, nor too soft, puts them at ease in festivals as well as in more intimate settings.
In their debut album ‘Speaker Mind’ they primarily aim to preserve and capture this energy that drives their passion for music, for song-writing and for life.
