Biography

Bonn, Germany (1995 – present)

Dominik Eulberg, born in 1978 in Westerwald, Germany is an music artist and DJ who has released numerous singles as well as full-length albums on labels such as cocoon recordings and Traum Schallplatten. He occasionally works as park ranger in German National parks, an occupation he plans to pursue full time in the near future after retiring from music.

Dominik’s fascination for electronic music began at a very young age. The radio show “Clubnights” with Sven Väth was a major early influence. At the age of 15 he started buying records and learned to DJ. From the very beginning he has given his attention to innovative and experimental records.

In 1995 he bought himself his own equipment in order to give free rein to his creativity and to start appearing as a live act.

Later he ended up in the city of Bonn where he started studying ecological geography. Besides music, nature is the most important thing for him and also provides inspiration for his songs.

His first publications appeared on Matthias Schaffhäuser´s label WARE and on Raum Music, a label settled in Frankfurt. Shortly after, he met Riley Reinhold and Jaqueline Klein, which resulted in a collaboration on the labels Traum Schallplatten and Trapez. It is on this label. where his first album “Flora and Fauna” was published.

    i'm with the people who don't really care for Diorama. The rhythms are nice and all, but I'm not crazy about most of the ambient textures going on.

    WENN MAN SICH NICHT BEEINFLUSSEN LÄST VON DER GESELLSCHAFT UND SEIN STARKEN WILLEN BEHÄLT !!!!!DANN WIRD MAN AUCH MIT KREATIVITÄT BELOHNT, DIE DOMINIK EULBERG VOLL AUSLEBT, DADURCH AUCH DIE WELT MIT ANDEREN AUGEN SIEHT!!!WER SICH DANN AUCH NOCH SO UM SEINE UMWELT BEMÜHT IS FÜR MICH ,,DER HELD IM LEBEN,,SUPER EINSTELLUNG, HAMMER MUSIK!!!DA SOLLTEN SICH MAL PAAR ANDERE NE SCHEIBE ABSCHNEIDEN!!!!!P.S. super Leistung unsere Tierwelt so zu schützen, da diese Welt immer kleiner wird und wenige vergessen und nicht wissen wie wichtig unsere Flora und Fauna is ohne sie würde es uns gar nicht geben.....setze mich auch für den Naturschutz ein und des gar nicht so einfach menschen zu finden die Interesse daran haben unsere Umwelt zuschützen da auch Stätte immer größer werden und Interessen sich ändern ,,LEIDER,,DANKE AN DOMINIK EULBER!!!!!!!!!Liebe Grüße mit schick

    dont like the latest record(s) either. it just gets kind of "dream techno". everytime he comes with a interesting beat/rhythm he adds some really cheesy synthiesounds. it sometimes reminds me on pantha du prince (which latest release i also dont like that much) indeed, but hasnt the deepness. Prefer him very much on the tough side back on flora & fauna. and live :)
