Born in the eastend of London, Bethnal Green. Son of Ernest Albert Costin and Rossetta Grace Costin.
Played Piano from the age of seven and picked up drums at the age of ten. played in various School bands, of which one “Bluewind”, a jazz rock outfit, was to develope his skills and passion as a player.
He then bumped into two people that were rehersing at the same eastend studio at the time, Jack Hughs and Nick Feldman, who were looking for a drummer and Bass player. That was the first incarnation of what was to become “Wang Chung”. 1979
After leaving Wang Chung in 1985, he went on to Write/record an album for RCA America in 1986. “Heroes”. Here we are.
Since 1990, he has composed, performed, Produced and Engineered, with a diverse collection of artists and Legends that include, Wang Chung, Frank Sinatra, Luciano Pavarotti, Bjork and U2.
Still working as a Writer, Musician, Producer, has just finished work on a new unsigned outfit “DAVE”, producing the record for 2009 intittled “A DAVE in the life”!
There is also plans to tour with the Chungee’s in summer 09.

pinkest_witch heheh.. i used to know this guy... just the most adorable ( and crazy man) with the most wonderful family.. wonder if he reads this? bet you can't remember me :-) Anyway, hope Sharon ( I think that was your lovely lady's name) and the girls ( and the even crazier dogs) are all good!
