D.A.Wilson, born 1971, is an electronic design engineer by profession who has been producing music since 1990 at the Hideaway Studio. An avid electronic music enthusiast, he has generated a wealth of technical knowledge collecting, repairing and restoring vintage synths for over 20 years. He is the proud owner of what is likely to be the only playable example of a 1939 Hammond Novachord (the world’s first commercial polyphonic synthesizer) in the UK:

    Hi, DA: I am a fan and collector of classical music played on synthesizer. I stumbled across your Novachord Bach "Air" and it is really great. Have you recorded other classical pieces on the Novachord, or otherwise on synthesizer? It would be cool to have mp3 or other format of these. I collect and listen to regular albums, but also collect and enjoy individial demo tracks and other such things that a lot of synth players have out there on the web. Thanks. -Paul
