1. Clouds (60’s Scotland)
Clouds were a Scottish psychedelic/prog rock band active from 1964 through 1971. Initially called The Premiers, and then 1-2-3, the band consisted of Ian Ellis (vocals, bass), Billy Ritchie (organ) and Harry Hughes (drums). As 1-2-3, the band had a headlining Marquee residency in 1967, attended by future rock luminaries such as David Bowie, Keith Emerson, Rick Wakeman, Yes, and King Crimson. Playing an early form of progressive rock two years before it became fashionable, the band were signed by Brian Epstein and Nems, but crucially, did not release any recordings, ironically leaving the progressive scene to flourish and leave them behind, though they much to do with influencing it in the first place.

Clouds - Up Above Our Heads 1969 - "Up Above Our Heads" is the second and rarest album from UK (Scottish) progressive rock group "Clouds" from 1969. In contrast to most of their contemporaries and rivals who hailed from England, the trio's roots were in Scotland and trailed back to the mid-'60s. Ian Ellis and Harry Hughes originally teamed up as part of a Brit-beat band called the Premiers, formed in Edinburg in 1964. They were a conventionally configured quintet with bass, two guitars, and drums behind Ellis. Sometime later, they added Billy Ritchie on the organ. Ian Ellis - Organ, Guitar Acoustic, Bass, Vocals - Harry Hughes - Drums, Vocals - Billy Ritchie - Organ, Guitar, Piano, Bass, Harp, Organ Hammond, Vocals - -.-.-.-. om hari om ..... ॐะ

The ones I know are the two Scottish ones. I'm listening to the Scottish techno Clouds and enjoying it. But I have to admit that they (as well as all the other post-60's Clouds) should have taken a little bit more original name.
