Biography

Christian Cambas is a producer/DJ from Athens, Greece. Being involved in music production professionally since 1998, he has shown his many production facets ranging from Drum&Bass to straight up Progressive House. As a DJ while living in the U.S. and attending the Berklee College of Music, Christian was surrounded by House music, although he was primarily playing and producing Drum&Bass at the time. However, he never neglected his love for House and spent the greater duration of his stay in the U.S. working at a prestigious dance music record store. Besides DJing, he set up his own Drum&Bass label, First Commandment Records, which released three singles, all of which were embraced warmly by both the U.S. and European markets. Upon his return to Greece with a Music Production & Engineering degree in his hand, Christian started to get more involved in other styles of production, mainly after he started getting remix work for a seminal Greek record label. Through remixing and working at a DJ booking agency he started focusing more on the progressive side of House music. As a progressive house DJ, Christian found himself playing alongside DJs such as John Digweed, Carl Cox, Nick Warren, Sasha and many others, in definitive clubs and events around Greece. For two years, he held a monthly residency at +SODA in Athens.
