I started listening to Bubblegum Octopus in 2005 when I was in 8th grade; Storm of Envy and Story of the 8-Bit Compy had me instantly captivated, and I still return to this stuff as a guilty pleasure from time to time. Fuckya

I discovered BGO in high school when I was a freshman. I remember sitting at the desktop I shared with my family listening to God's Pink Laser through shitty little speakers. I thought it was interesting at the time. Not something I would regularly listen to, but intriguing music. I'd completely forgotten about it by the next year. Now I've rediscovered BGO and I'm a junior in college. After listening to the new album I can still say I'm not a huge fan, but just to hear the huge leap in quality when compared to the older albums made me happy. And by quality i mean production value. Song composition has gotten more complex also. Regardless, glad to see BGO is doing well and has a growing fan-base. Good to see that offbeat music never dies.

Glad to see that you're still making music. I've always thought that 8 Legged Dance Moves was such a brilliant album. Can't wait to listen to your new stuff.
