Helsinki, Finland (1998 – present)

There are several artists named Blanket:

(1) Blanket was a Seattle band that recorded for Cher Doll Records in the early nineties. The band was inspired by Spacemen 3 and the Velvet Underground. Members went on to play in Sno*Boy, and Tullycraft.

(2) Blanket are a three piece band from London and Brighton.
Other projects by its members include The Great Park, The Diamond Family Archive and Bank Of Restlessness.

(3) Blanket is also a rock band from Helsinki, Finland and a member of the Independent Fruit Company record label/band collective. The band was formed in 1998. Their first lp “This is the New Wave of Political Rock” was released in April 2007.

(4) Blanket is also a folk and country band from Czech republic.

(5) Blanket is a rock band from Switzerland. Their debut album was released in October 2011. The video for their song Hailey Fought the Law was featured on the swiss public radio as well as TV and won an award for the best swiss music video in January 2012.
