Biography

Raykeaa Wilson (born July 10, 1991), better known by her stage name Angel Haze, is an American rapper and lyricist signed to Universal Republic and Island. She was born in Michigan and grew up in the Greater Apostolic Faith. She now lives in Springfield, Virginia.

She was nominated for the Sound of 2013 poll by the BBC on December 9, 2012, and gained notoriety within the first week of 2013 when she released two diss tracks aimed at fellow female rapper Azealia Banks: “On the Edge” and “Shut the Fuck Up”.

So far, Haze has released 4 mixtapes: King, Voice, Reservation, and Classick, as well as an EP, New York. She is currently working on her debut album.
