Tang was born on October 15, 1983 in Hong Kong. She graduated from Buddhist Sum Heung Lam Memorial College and the Department of Fashion Design at IVE. In 2002, she joined girl group Cookies, and was the leader until the group disbanded in late 2004.
As a solo artist, Tang has released 5 albums so far: Coloring Stephy (August 2005), Fantasy (March 2006), Dating Stephy (February 2007), Stephilosophy (2007 December 21) and The Red Album (November 2008).

bondingo "New EP is pretty bad..." <--- It may not be musically genius, but it's a damn good EP if you enjoy dance music. Its pretty impressive considering how ballad-flooded the Canto Pop industry generally is.

hdfb New EP is pretty bad... but for some reason I keep listening to the songs, even though I know Stephy's singing leaves much to be desired. It's so vocoded and her voice sounds even more weak.
