Tristan & The Troubadours
Wth an expansive line-up and no obvious lead, their sound is dense and diverse, piano and violin equal partners to the guitars. Equally though, their songs are short, very sweet and packed with a giddy, youthful exuberance.
Their recent Demo Of The Month review described them as "a great mix of fluffy jangle-pop naiviety and something more virulent from the gloomier side of New York's musical underground"

Motion In Colour
With influences ranging from Bon Iver to The Get Up Kids and Fleet Foxes to Death Cab For Cutie Motion In Colour are a highly promising young Oxford band that have so far shared a stage with The Charlatans and A Silent Film amongst others.
Sometimes playing as a full band, sometimes solo, tonight will see an acoustic set from singer Adam Barnes and friend.
''offering a sweetly pleading ballad that's deft enough to fall into the Jeff Buckley camp but a little too saccharine to really tug your heartstrings. When the rest of the band do emerge they fill out Adam's songs and add a more propulsive dynamic without detracting too much from his soft-centred songs. - Nightshift Magazine
