Description
Last.Fm Presents is back to host the very first Big Chill Bar All Nighter, bringing you lucky people of Brick Lane one huge dose of musical fun to dance the night away to! Picking the best music from the weekly hype charts with a little help from DJ talents Boogaloo Crew, Isa GT, ANXST AKA P45, the Last.fm DJ team, PLUS a very, very special guest tba - this event is not to be missed!
It’s fair to say that Boogaloo Crew AKA Dark Sky completely smashed 2010, from remixing everyone from The XX to Kelis, to playing every cool party and festival going. 2011’s already shaping up well for this production trio who’s recent Fact Mix has earned them more supporters far and wide! Expect a big helping of 4/4 house and UK garage from the South London crew who we guarantee will not disappoint!
Columbian born Isa GT is best known with production outfit Girlcore. Her debut EP last year ‘Pa’Chikirri’ on Man Recordings went down a treat with remixes from the likes of Daniel Haaksman, and Crookers ¬- the latter openly big fans of hers. Having previously graced the decks alongside the likes of Radioclt, Sinden, Simian Mobile Disco, Zombie Disco Squad, and many more we sure are excited to have her for our first all nighter!
Anxst aka P45’s genre transcending expertise takes in the experimental dubstep trip of Vex’d, industrial techno of Surgeon, the future glitch of Flying Lotus and the scattered experimental drum and bass of Amon Tobin. If you’re looking for crossover electronic, dubstep, techno and the industrial avant-garde P45 is your man!
We can’t say much about our top secret DJ yet but can assure it’s a corker but shhhhhh don’t tell anyone!
Lastly on the bill is the Last.fm DJ Team, made up from their growing ranks of designers, developers, translators, traffickers, moderators and, of course, the music team. Hand-picking the best music from the Last.fm Hype Chart www.last.fm/music they cover everything and anything from post-punk, disco, electro, avant-rock.
