Description
Revered author Alan Moore (Watchmen / V For Vendetta / From Hell) takes us on a spoken-word adventure with a dark narrated tale, scored by Crook&Flail (aka Andy Broder of Fog and Adam ‘Doseone‘ Drucker of Subtle, Themselves, cLOUDDEAD) with members of Mogwai, Faith No More, Hella and Jesu. Comic and music geeks, steady yourselves for this live performance, as Moore and his spectacular beard take to an eerie former railway tunnel.
Over two nights in late July, Alan Moore will be reading Unearthing live in a unique London venue – long forgotten railway storage vaults underneath Waterloo Station. These have been reopened and are now curated by The Old Vic Theatre. Previous productions in this space include Punchdrunk Theatre’s Tunnel 228.
He will be accompanied by Crook&Flail + guests, performing a live musical score. Words and music will be framed by a visual narrative from photographer / director Mitch Jenkins.
Thursday 29th July. 7:30pm – 11.30pm
Friday 30th July. 7:30pm – late
Performances start at 8:30pm.
Tickets for Friday include entrance to late party.
