Such an epic night really even with the asshat heckler. Also I'd like to thank the two random dudes in front of me, I usually seem to get insanely tall and ignorant blokes push in front of me at gigs usually blocking my view of the stage but these chaps were considerate enough to make sure we could see; which was pretty fricking awesome so thank youuuu <3

Glad folk enjoyed it, we (DiS) had a ball. The heckling was unfortunate and a bit annoying but hopefully it didn't spoil the show for anybody. The band seemed happy with the reception they got, which was 99.9% overwhelmingly positive! If you'd like to keep up-to-date with what we've got coming up, follow us on Twitter (http://twitter.com/drownedinevents) or join the FB group (http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=45213901088). Cheers!

@sasquatchdied: I think you bought your album just before I bought mine. Kudos on your luxurious ponytail.

Yeah @kirksmeaton I got it from the gig. Bought it from Dan himself before Gold Panda came on and got a handshake then spent the rest of the gig clutching it and carefully protecting the corners. He had some t-shirts too, but I didn't fancy the colours much. I was lucky with the crowd except the one heckling nutjob (was he wearing the bobble hat?).

@kirksmeaton: This twit wasn't wearing a bobble hat was he? The bloke near me churning out inane bullshit at top volume throughout the gig was wearing one. The merch stall was down the left hand side of the hall, but you couldn't really see it or get to it once the venue had filled up.

Great gig. Marred only slightly by some twit near me in the audience talking loudly and continuously throughout. What is it with these self absorbed student types? @sasquatchdied - did you pick up the double LP from the gig? I didn't see any stuff for sale. I've ordered mine from Rough Trade instead.

Also, can someone give a setlist? There was at least one song that I didn't recognise.

Excellent gig! Odessa didn't come out quite as well as I'd hoped, but Sun and most of the rest were absolutely incredible. Thought Gold Panda's set was going to be a dud, but he really picked up later on too. Got the double LP for £15 :D

He's in the country already. Played an in store at Rough Trade East on Saturday. So it's going ahead.

Same day as the album is released. I'm going to get myself fixed up at the merch stall.
