Yuh, I miscounted the ways
I mistreated you, I'm a miserable prick
It's misleading to think, that you even miss me a bit
I misinterpret the hate, and it's just fuel for the fight
Confuse it for something that's not like, I'm alright

That's why I count the days though you left home
And watch another day go by
And I said I'd never let go, I'm headstrong

I know I ain't perfect, but I tried my best
But I guess I'm to blame because I made this mess
It's the same old shit until they ain't none left
So, I sit and watch the days go by

A simple "love you, goodbye" and fuck you, till we call it a day
I try to think of shit to say while you were walking away
