芬兰维京金属三剑客－－之－－Ensiferum Ensiferum取名于拉丁语（英译：The Sword-wearing），网络上多翻译为：圣剑。是一支来自芬兰的民谣/维京金属(Folk/Viking Metal)乐队。他们完美的将传统的民谣与中世纪旋律融合在重金属里，创造了一个独一无二的Ensiferum神话。 Ensiferum成立于1995至96年间，成员有Markus Toivonen (吉他), Sauli Savolainen (低音吉他)和Kimmo Miettinen (鼓手)。1996年，Jari Maenpaa作为吉他手和主唱加入乐队。他们当时的曲风受到了民谣以及Amorphis，Dark Tranquility等这类旋律死亡金属乐队的影响。 1997年由于Jari要去服兵役，乐队不得不休眠一阵。Jari于同年底归队后他们录制了第一张小样。仅有的300盒小样卡带在此后的一年里散布在了世界的各个角落并获得的良好的回应。 1998年发生了几次成员变动，Jukka-Pekka Miettinen作为低音吉他加入；乐队Arthemesia的鼓手Oliver Fokin与Ensiferum原鼓手 Kimmo Miettinen互换，加入到了彼此的乐队。此后乐队的阵容一直固定到了现在，他们是：Jari Maenpaa （主唱，吉他） Markus T… 了解更多
