We've been firmly behind what the forward-thinkers over at Convergence have been doing for a while now. Quite easily the event series that best encapsulates all the wonderful, innovative things happening at the intersection where music, art and technology meet, Convergence possibly reached a peak last night with the wildly ambitious Pieces of a Man: The Gil Scott-Heron Project.
The night celebrated the work of legendary American soul and jazz poet, musician and author Gil Scott-Heron through interpretations of his music via today's leading names in soulful vibes - see Kwabs, Anna Calvi, Andreya Triana, Nadine Shah, Floating Points and more.
