The Georgian folk rock group stopped by the Last.fm studios for an intimate session
Late last year our New York studio got a visit from this talented group of guys from Athens, GA called Futurebirds. Fresh off the release of their new album Hotel Parties the band, who were in the midst of plotting their 2016 festival appearances and tour dates, displayed a mixture of modesty and confidence that immediately won us over. Modest about their rising popularity, yet clearly confident in the strength of their new material, Futurebirds invited us into their world with a performance that included new songs "Paranoia Letter," "Rodeo" and "twentyseven."

Futurebirds just announced a new batch of tour dates and festival appearances for the Spring and Summer of 2016, kicking off with a headlining slot at the Savannah Stopover Festival in March. Check their tour page for more information and tickets.
