Bread & Butter presents Italoboyz

Bread & Butter is proud to start this new journey at Basing House in the heart of Shoreditch. With its exposed brickwork, intimate environment, Funktion 1 sound system and a dedication to underground music, the Basing House has all the right ingredients to be our new "home".
For this first appointment, we aim to keep our tradition in terms of quality line-ups. The internationally renowned ITALOBOYZ will perform their unique signature sounds to an appreciative crowd along with Bread and Butter djs resident.
Since arriving in London at the beginning of the new millennium, Italoboyz (aka Marco Donato and Federico Marton) have become an essential fixture of the capitals small but passionate minimal scene. From their notorious back-to-back DJ sets at FESH (333, London), their reputation has grown to the point where they can now be found playing regularly across Europe and the rest of the UK. However, its not just the energy and flair of their DJ sets that has captured the imagination, Italoboyz releases on some of todays most influential minimal-house / techno labels like Get Physical, Moon Harbour Treibstoff, Einmaleins Musik and Mothership.

Although their sound has always been characterized by organic elements along with large doses of funk and energy, the distinctive flavour of their productions and DJ sets is down to a willingness to embrace and explore the various genres and sub-genres that develop out of this constantly evolving music. One of the reasons Italoboyz productions are so well received is the fact that their musical expression is a fusion of sounds, themes and ideas resulting from over 15 years DJing experience. Their aim is to deliver the most modern, cutting edge sound possible but it should still resonate through time, both past and future, in order to make the immediate experience all the more seductive.

Then onto their own productions and releases on mightily impressive Get Physical label (along side stable mates M.A.N.D.Y., BOOKA SHADE, MODESELEKTOR) and Claude Van Strokes imprint Mothership. With tracks such as Bla Bla Bla and Victor Casanova, tons of remixes and bookings world wide they have firmly established themselves on the global dance music stage.

Although the Italoboyz might not play Italodisco, but with their dj sets blending house, minimal and wacky attitude, they sure know how to rock a club.
BREAD & BUTTER is an underground meeting for the up and coming, along with the established names on house and techno world. The night has already become a monthly fixture in the London club scene and has attracted the likes of international DJs PAN-POT, ARGY, RYAN CROSSON, AUDIOFLY, BLOODY MARY, ALEX CELLER, GILES SMITH, ROB MELLO,CESARE vs DISORDER, ANTHEA, MARCEL FENGLER, MISS JOOLS to name of few.
3 years on and it's still a popular party, maintaining its underground status and building a friendly, international crowd of regular people through word-on-the-street promotion and line-ups that reflect what's going on in the electronic music scene in London. B&B crowd are music lovin' party people but without pretensions: they've always worried less about the name of the person behind the decks and more about whether the records played are rocking the place.
