Hmm. The only thing that comes to mind atm is a band called [artist]Lucid Fear[/artist]. They only released one demo but it's pretty good and has some interesting female vocal use. See if you can find the song "Seas of maulestick force"

Haha yeah it seems like our tastes have evolved in a similar way. Unfortunately I rarely listen to metal anymore. It's not that I dislike it, I've just gotten into other stuff.

His whole album is gorgeous like that, I hope you give it a try! The first track is sort of hard/harsh but once past that the rest is all dreamy..

I LOVED Matador. Definitely the kind of sound I've been searching for lately.

That sounds like the best combo ever. Once my roommate gets her ass up and out of my room, I will be checking them out.

You know, you bring up a very valid point! This is the second tour of theirs in a row that I've missed due to my age. First one was 18+ and this one is 21+, I never win.

I'd imagine! I can't download music at university so I haven't gotten a chance to listen to it yet! And I was so ready to buy Megabus tickets to Chicago to see them this weekend when I realized that I can't. >:l

Apparently you left a shout on my wall more than a year ago (I was drukqx back then). I'll have you know that I'm back and you have excellent taste.

They really are, I speak to them every now and then, and John always informs me of his new releases and provides me with a download link haha. Hammock are definitely my favourite post-rock band, they are really unique. No matter how hard I look, I can't find a similar sound :\ haha
