hi, sonicsphere! i don`t like this album, it is exhausted and monotonous, i think. one guy said, that songs of "cut the crap" album like "football fans" style songs, and i agree with him. despite of "north and south", i really like it! my favourite fall albums are "shift-work" and "this nat-ion's saving grace". so trivially, isn`t it? :D

Hi. Thank you for the Sonics recommendation! I just went to their page to check them out only to find that I've listened to Strychnine three times and <3 that track! lol. I then realized that it was from my Nuggets box set... which is one of the best things I ever found at my little record shop.. used and in perfect condition.. all 4 discs + the wonderful booklet. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nuggets:_Original_Artyfacts_from_the_First_Psychedelic_Era,_1965%E2%80%931968 :) I highly recommend Nuggets I and II. I am still working my way through them. I also have the Children which I've hardly even scratched. Good stuff!!

Hey! Well, I've been fairly obsessed :) with The The and New Order lately. I'd highly recommend New Order's compilation Substance 1987 (or albums 'Power, Corruption, and Lies' and 'Low-Life') and pretty much everything by The The. I am really loving some of the singles... Uncertain Smile (the version with the epic piano solo from the album Soul Mining), and much of Infected and Mind Bomb. Matt Johnson (of The The) is an amazing lyricist/god-like genius. :) Anything new/old you've been loving lately that you'd recommend?
