I still have to get the new Stars album. I really have enjoyed their past two albums, so I'll see what this one has to offer. Wild Nothing's album is pretty great. They are really awesome live, too.

Really? The songs immediately clicked for me, just like every song off of High Violet. I like the direction they're going in. I guess if I did have a least favorite of the four, it would be "Month of May."

I agree 100% with that statement! I loved it when the Middle East joined them on stage during "Roll Away Your Stone". Definitely a highlight. I danced so much! It was the best.

The National is my favorite band, of all TIME. The show on Saturday just confirmed it. High Violet did not disappoint! Conversation 16 and Lemonworld, Bloodbuzz and Terrible Love. It's just fantastic.

I actually didn't get a chance to make it to that one, but my friend gushed about it and made me insanely jealous. They seem like they would be SO much fun to witness live. But the national show I attended on saturday enriched my life. So perfect.

Yeah, I'm not all that concerned about missing Grizzly because apparently it was over crowded and they just don't strike me as a band that would suit a tent. I still beg to understand why Passion Pit was pit on that sunset slot at the outdoor theatre, and Grizzly Bear in that tent.

Never really got into Thom Yorke's solo stuff, but it's cool that he played Airbag, one of my favs, acoustic. Miss anyone? I missed Girls and The Soft Pack and Grizzly. Bit gutted about Girls.

i didn't make it! i didn't have a friend to go with in town and my sisters and the people i'm staying with weren't feeling it... i couldn't really say, "fuck you guys i'm going!" but i should have, i couldn't see them in new orleans. what did i miss, was it amazing?
