sweet. Wii warnings and precautions! Do you have a system? I've played a Wii once at a store and it was for about 2 minutes. Haven't had a chance to sit down (or stand up for that matter) & play one.

Er, yes, don't smash up either your telly OR your children with it in that case! :-) I wake up with strangely numb areas or body parts in odd positions sometimes too, but I think that might be something different. ;-)

Excellent!! I hope you don't get any of those bizarre Wii injuries I keep hearing about, or accidentally smash your telly with it. :) I'm RUBBISH at remembering birthdays as it happens, have to be reminded about my own sometimes.

Bradleigh! What's with this shoutless visiting? ;-) My top track this week (well, as long as you're looking at the rolling beta charts) is [track artist=Brendon Small]Don't Put Marbles In Your Nose[/track] - some good advice for us all there.

Hope you're feeling better today... still waiting on that Sigur Ros review though, mate? And have you read my show #2 review yet regarding Santogold? What's her profile like in the States because she's quite popular over here...?

I'll be roping in Joseph Arthur and (fingers crossed!) Massive Attack too... but how was Sigur Ros? I haven't even seen a TV performance of them live, even though I believe that their live stuff is one of the main reasons they are so popular in the first place, so would like to hear what went down. How were their new tracks?

Wow, you have got a busy gigging week, haven't you? Me and George are going to see those post-rock pioneers [artist]Yazoo[/artist] next week...

I'm really sold on Velocifero in general, it's so good! Meanwhile back in the beta, if you choose to make your activity feed public, people will be reading a lot of "Post-Rocker left a shout somewhere, but it's since been deleted." :) Although, I've just noticed the subtle changes in your About Me - maybe you're going to start over with a new profile and a new name if the waning continues? Post-Rocker is dead, long live ElectroBrad?

Ha, that gave me a laugh, cheers! The latest beta things are, there's a little black square in the corner of avatars to indicate a subscriber, and you can customize the 8 artists that are pictured to represent your library. As for 'cowboys', we say that to mean dodgy builders, plumbers, electricians... or programmers if you want to extend the metaphor!

When I said how good your haircut was, was that the complimentary thing or the witty thing? ;-D I'm nearly always in beta, they keep changing little things and I enjoy keeping track of those. Also, there are weirdnesses. For a while this afternoon, EVERYBODY'S weekly tracks showed several thousand plays of [track artist=Portishead]Cowboys[/track]. I LIKE weirdnesses. Does the phrase "oh you've had some cowboys in here!" mean anything to you or is it especially Brit?

Work is still fairly hellish. I'm a bit knackered. Could you pretend I said something witty and/or complimentary? :)

I see you've commented on Goldfrapp track Cologne Cerrone Houdini... don't you think it's a lot like Felt Mountain and Supernature condensed into a single song? Beautiful... And a Paul Thomas Anderson film accused of being drawn out?? ;^)

Yeah, it is more abrasive in the beginning of the soundtrack. It mellows out a bit after the intro. I didn't care much for the sdtk at first but am definitely digging it now after seeing the film. The movie seemed to drag on a bit too much and was a bit overhyped, imo.

You ever listen to Jonny Greenwood's sdtk for "there will be blood?" I didn't see it in your iTunes list.

DemonSweat
Yep, I still listen to it. More often in the car CD player though. A car scrobbler would be nice.

Yeah I got an email from .Mac earlier - it looks really, really good! But I haven't had chance to explore properly yet because work's manic...

Are you still planning on seeing the fiery furnaces & el 10/11? I'd love to see the FF.

Yep, I do have the 1st one. I'll have to go back and listen to that for comparison. I think the last time I listened to it was last summer when they were supposed to be part of a tour with P.TM. You hear much of the new Sigur Rós?

Where are you? "Brad is NOT HERE!" (guess that quote and you'll hold an especially high place on my paragon of geekdom... which is the new chic, by the by!) ;^)

Yo Brad! Wow, you're #4 in my list this week. You been listening to Ginuwine, Donna Summer and Janet Jackson again? ;) Looks like there's no weekly neighbours feature in the beta at the moment, I'm going to miss that. Things are good, thanks. Brilliant, really. How 'bout you?

Hee hee, nice, thanks! Meanwhile, have you noticed that the beta is now defaulting to a Weekly view, including for the Library? Interesting...

Ha! Wikipedia says: "Another area of contention is the idea that toy dogs are only companion animals, slow moving, with little need for exercise and with low endurance." I suggest you cheer Picasso up by downloading the song [track artist=The Shortwave Set]No Social[/track] from my iDisk. You'll understand why when you listen to it! :-)

Not just yet, no. Got through the first two songs on Narrow Stairs and needed sleep... went to see Santogold last night so was quite knackered from all the standing around and nodding along. You like her stuff?

I know! And there's no single track I've been obsessing about, either, everything from the new album has between 23-31 plays. Although there's a clear favourite from the FIRST album that's snuck in there. Which is your fault. :) While YOUR charts are Trent's fault, not yours, surely, because hasn't there been a ridiculous amount of new tracks recently? And meanwhile: :-( I didn't get a notification email about your shout.

Strange, your charts definitely appeared updated when I left that comment. Maybe its a caching thing* that means you didn't get to see them straight away yourself. *bluffing wildly about something I don't really understand :)
