Originating from the sunniest city known to man, Karlstad, in the middle of Sweden, Robin James and the Nicknames started banging their heads, electric guitars and groovy riffs together in 2017. They find inspiration from classic rock, dirty blues and funk but also from more obscure stuff as the Swedish TV-show NileCity, as well as YouTube-videos of cats getting scared of cucumbers. The songs are tales and stories; mystic and humorous in a dusty blend, layered with harmonies and riffs that would have made everyone dance at Woodstock or any place really in the 60s or 70s.
