Marionette (Manic Marionette from the beginning) was founded in Gothenburg, Sweden in 2005. The band has 6 members. The founder of the band is the base player, who wanted to mix the visuals from Japan with the typical "Gothenburgmetal". They have grown away from that idea quite a bit, but you can still see traces of it. Since the beginning the band have been winning a lot of contests, and got fans in an early stage.
