The birth of When He Left found place in the deep forrest of Telemark in Norway. The name When He Left is a celebration of friendship and longing feelings. Formed in 2005, When He Left has always had a loose structure, and consists of different people at different times and everyone can contribute. In 2006 the album Compilation of good thoughts came out on sweetpete recs, and became a success among the critics even though the sale was really slow. Currently When He Left is writing and recording new material for an upcoming record.
