Hailing from Japan, Uhs received the baptism of hip-hop culture during his early high school years. Taking up digging and DJing at a tender age, he soon became devoted to underground hip-hop and the break beat scene. After purchasing an MPC and starting to focus on his own production, Uhs also started his own night "soak", in downtown Tokyo.
