The Charming Locals were founded in October 2009 in Zurich. Lukas (guitar, vocals) and Sascha (drums) met each other one year before. They decided to share a flat in the City of Zurich and startet a band. Inspired from bands like Nirvana, The Libertines, Radiohead, The Lemonheads, Pixies, Sonic Youth and much more they’re playing energetic, honest and dirty kind of rock music. In the late sommer of 2011, Adrian Lanz joined the Band on the bass.
