Born in Austria, swimming statues is an artist specializing in lowercase and dark ambient. Through his short career he has expanded on his influences from the sporadic tape manipulation of Bjørn J. Magnhildøen and Pierre Schaeffer, to the depressive dark ambient loops of Isolated Light and his other projects (e.g. Epiglottis). Swimming statues first came to experience his love for the dark expressionism of minimalism working for projects such as Firmensprecher and 4::718, now having moved onto solo work after the two projects went defunct.
