What first started as a blues-oriented rock band in 2006 has through several lineup changes become what is today called Skye Rider. Heavily influenced by old school heavy bands such as Black Sabbath and Kyuss as well as classic biker culture, the band uses their love for the old to create something new in heavy music. Starting out in late 2008 the band has already played every stage in their hometown of Östersund, Sweden including festival Storsjöyran, as well as opening for bigger acts.
