Nobstreater was a Western-Washington math rock band in the late 1990's. Composed of Ralph Hogaboom (guitar, vox), Thom McDaniels (bass), and Geoff Cotton (drums), the trio performed blistering sets of angst-ridden Christian hard rock. Often integrating whispers, odd time signatures (5/4 & 7/4), and frenetic breakdowns, the group was dynamic and unrelenting. Nobstreater released an EP, "The Name of this Band is Nob Streater" in 1996 and in 1999 released a full-length CD titled "Where Are The Wisemen Where Are The Scholars".
