Bloomington, IN, United States (2002 - present) Master-Redactors are a lo-fi "basement pop" duo from Bloomington, IN. They formed in 2002 out of a mutual love for Guided By Voices, eventually playing several shows as a GBV cover band. Within a few months, they began writing original material and playing open mic dates. Taking the GBV aesthetic with them, they predominantly record on 4-track and 8-track analog cassette recorders, as well as maintain a certain degree of brevity to their songs.
