Himen is a alternative rock group formed in 2005 by guitarist and vocalist Ruca. Soon, with Meire (drums) she began with idead of a rock grunge punk band. Then drew their initial audience in the 2005's end, with adding of Morgana (bass) who was studing with Ruca on college. The group is influenced a lot by grunge and rock bands, like Queens of Stone Age, Nirvana, Interpol and indies like Interpol and Franz Ferdinand. The name is a gift from another band of Ruca's friends and it came to join perfectally with a rock group of girls only.
