The first jam rehearsal with Hellious was in march 2009 when brothers of the band Deejay and Matty James invited Connor up for a jam. The brothers former band 'Streets Of Gotham', had finished up not long before then, Deejay and Matty had decided to go a bit heavier with the music. It was a 3 piece with Deejay and connor both on guitars and matty on drums.
