Gulo met in Malmö, Sweden when two of the members became room-mates. They discovered they both liked the same kind of music and started experimenting with sounds all night in their tiny room. Two drummers and a trumpet player started hanging out at the flat, and decided to join the band. The result was shimmering harmonies, dirty synths and beating drums. Gulo are releasing their second EP in summer 2011 and are playing summershows in England, Germany, USA and Sweden.
