Cool Jam was established in 1995. A mix of Jazz, Funk, Rock and Fusion with a bit of Rap mixed in here and there, their eclectic style in music developed a large underground following in the Tokyo Music Scene. Their Album "New Flavor" released in 1997 was one that was a collaboration between Mark Allen (Streamline Records) and Rik Jones to bring the band into a home-grown studio and record, produce and distribute the Band's debut album.
