Cave System is a band from Detroit, MI that formed in 2008. Cave System originally started as an ambient instrumental project called "My Dear, Watson" which was born out of the ashes of guitarists Eric Schmeling, Nicholas Koenig and Erik Daniel's first band, "You Look Adopted." The trio recorded a 5 song E.P as My Dear Watson on a laptop microphone and started playing shows behind it.
