Dan moved back from North Carolina to his hometown of Regina, Saskatchewan to tinker with his brain machines. Once the lid was off, ninety kinds of crazy jumped out at him like starving vermin. He tamed some of the vermin with songs. He calls these songs post-folk, because folk is what he was after. Some of the songs are pretty, others are ragged, but all are dense and sugar-free.
