With the demise of Dear Diary I Seem to Be Dead Chuck, Dave, and Steve started A Hunger Artist with Greg from gathered here. Picking up from where Dear Diary left off they moved into new territory with a sound still reminiscent of their previous bands. They played numerous shows in the New Orleans area, recorded their demo Dissatisfied with the Proceedings and went into the studio to record for an LP which would be their last recordings before Hurricane Katrina broke them up.
