Zuurstof is the alias for the Amsterdam-based producer Marc Stumpel. Creating music in a lot of different styles, starting out as drummer in a metal band, later on playing percussion in a jembe-group and guitar in a post-rock band. Started producing music 5 years ago, with triphop and postrock. However, once he discovered Dubstep his music became more oriented towards this genre, but remained influenced by his musical taste for Reggae, Metal, Postrock, Drum n Bass, Triphop and other styles.
