Makenaide (負けないで lit. "I won't lose") is the 6th single by pop rock band Zard. It was the first single to reach number 1 on the Oricon weekly charts. According to the song's composer Tetsurō Oda, she was singing "strangely" but it proved to be good. It sold over 1.64 million copies and became the highest-selling song for Zard.
