Build & Destroy is the third studio album by Japanese hardcore band Yellow Machinegun released in September 1999. Even more rooted in the Crossover, in Build & Destroy the girls make even more mixtures transitioning from Thrash to Hardcore, keeping a rhythm less cadenced and more repetitive, here for the first time we see a certain tiredness in the songs, but nothing that hinders the performance of the album that continues fast, aggressive, distorted and the already characteristic debauchery in Kaori Okumura's vocals. tracks like 'Enjoy Your Life' and 'My Eyes Under the Sands' and others, keep the characteristic heavy of the band's sound. Tracks such as 'Right or Left', 'Nightmare' and 'Red Sun' show the band doing a more cadenced sound.
