After venturing into drones, ambient and soundscapes the artist now known as Winterpijn turns to minimal piano keystrokes. Most of the parts are one-shot recordings and improvisations by someone who actually doesn't know how to play the piano. This results in a very minimal and often off-beat sound that is geared to put the listener (and the creator) in a specific atmosphere. Winterpijn isn't about the notes that are there, it's about those that aren't.
