Will Moon is a solo artist from Hobart/nipaluna. He has been a part of numerous bands (Moonglue, Bianca Blackhall Band, Nice House Band) and released Unorthopop in 2022 after losing a hard drive full of musical work. This loss motivated him to release songs that had been recorded since 2019 but left unpolished and laying dormant as they were in their raw form. By his own admission, songs on Unorthopop are missing instrumentation, the vocal takes are scratch demos and some of it is "sonically incongruent". Some of it was recorded and mixed while Moon was in Japan.
