Founded in 2007, Western Survival is a pairing of friends and musicians, Dave Sampson and Pat Ciambrone, who, as often as possible, get together to write and record music. Though both members are full time college students and belong to other bands (Hightide Hotel), the duo still makes an effort to create new material whenever their schedules permit, writing and recording songs that touch on the pangs and snares of growing up and moving on, drawing from an endless list of influences while transcending genres.
