One of the most disturbing Ween songs, sang from the perspective of a young child dying of the disease Spinal Meningitis. Constantly repeating the phrases “Am I gonna die?” and “It really hurts Mommy”. Eventually when the song gets to the solo, you are met with the screams of the child behind the guitar as if something has caused the child immense pain. The phrase “smile almighty Jesus” prodding at the nickname “Smilin' Mighty Jesus” for the disease given by religious people. Originally demoed in 1992, the demo has a much darker sound, with a less distorted guitar solo.
